Notes: This tank is essentially an emergency replacement for my old 40G FOWLR. On Friday November 14 2003, the original 40G FOWLR started leaking. I moved the fish, invertebrates and live rock to tub with the powerheads and purchased a new tank. I took the opportunity to replace the shell grit and undergravel filter with a deep sand bed made from pool dust and #00 crushed marble. Once the tank was ready, the live rock, invertebrates and fish were moved back in. |
